The line between counselling and coaching is sometimes blurry. While coaching tends to focus on the present and the future, counselling is a therapeutic process that also helps the individual to analyse and come to terms with their past. Reflecting on the past is beneficial for most and necessary for others in order to advance in life.

Past events that haven’t been processed or have been wrongfully interpreted can hold you back from achieving your goals. Counselling provides a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space where you can share your past events that may carry a multitude of emotions including shame, anger or sadness.

Counselling helps people regain wellbeing and clear decision making. Sharing your issues, concerns and fears with a trained professional lessens the effects of these on your life because it reduces the shame associated with them. I believe that everyone can improve their life regardless of their starting point. Whether you want to come to terms with past events, stop negative self-talk or address unhealthy coping mechanisms and destructive habits, counselling can help.

Together we will explore the thoughts and behaviours that are holding you back in life. Once these have been identified, we will design strategies to address them.

Are You a Business Owner?

My counselling services can be provided to employees in need. Offering employees the opportunity to talk with a trained, impartial professional can help them feel uplifted and more productive. Apart from counselling, I can also offer your organisation workplace coaching and executive coaching. Whether you would like me to come to your workplace and give a speech on mental health, or you would like me to personally coach your employees 1:1, we can find personalised solutions to enhance performance, well-being and productivity in your organisation.

Our work takes a significant portion of our awake hours. Passive-aggressiveness, unclear communication, or even bullying can be extremely detrimental to people’s mental health and overall workplace climate and productivity.
